Tutoring

Keys to Effective Learning has provided a full range of academic services to children with special needs in fully integrated school settings, students with learning disabilities and students who simply need some additional short term support to be more successful in their classrooms. These academic services include: assessment (academic inventories), individual educational plans (IEP’s), curriculum development, classroom observations, consultation with Teachers, School Administrators and Parents, one–to-one and small group tutoring, and progress monitoring/reporting. Keys has established and operates a Learning Centre in a client school. Keys has worked with over 100 students in Egypt since 1995.

Consulting

Keys to Effective Learning has worked with both public and private schools to assist them in defining their goals and developing school plans. Keys has worked with school Administrative teams; Principals, Vice-Principals, Academic Deans, Financial Managers and IT Co-ordinators to implement and support the integration of effective teaching methods into their schools’ classrooms. Keys has worked with schools from Cairo, Alexandria, Ismalia, Assuit, Qena, Mansoura and Sharm el Sheikh.

Teacher Training

Keys to Effective Learning has provided professional development opportunities to Teachers and School Administrators from public and private schools. Teacher training workshops and seminars are offered throughout the year at the Keys Training Centre in Maadi and at individual schools dependent on the Teachers’/Schools needs. Keys offers a program of educational topics which build effective teaching practices and customized training seminars which meet the needs of client schools. These workshops and seminars have been provided for Preschool, Primary, Preparatory and Secondary Teachers.

Total Training Solutions

Keys to Effective Learning has provided Total Training Solutions as part of USAID Educational Reform Initiatives. Keys has worked within these projects to design training plans, develop training curriculum, deliver training, monitor training, revise training curriculum, train Teacher Trainers, coordinate the production of training materials, secure appropriate training facilities and provide on-going consultation with USAID, project staff and Ministry of Education. Keys has worked with the USAID Master Teachers as part of the New Schools Project.
